Refractory Lining Repair at a Hazardous Waste Incineration Plant in Poland

We successfully followed up on our previous project at the first line of a hazardous waste incineration plant in Poland, where our refractory castable lining achieved a service life of nearly 12 months in operation. Compared to the customer’s original solution, this represents an increase in lifetime of more than 300%.

We have now completed the repair of the refractory lining on the second line, including the connected boiler section. The project also included several minor improvements aimed at further extending the operational lifetime.

In applications like this, performance always depends on operating conditions – particularly the incineration regime, waste composition and potential waste mixing before entering the rotary kiln.

This summer, we will deliver and install the refractory lining for the third line, which is currently under construction.
