From engineering to dry-out: a complete WHB project delivered

We have successfully completed the refractory lining of a new WHB for a fertilizer production plant. Unlike standard repairs or partial interventions, this project involved the full execution of a brand-new waste heat boiler manufactured in the Czech Republic.

Our scope of supply covered the complete refractory solution – from engineering and material supply to installation and final dry-out.

Key project figures:

• 25 tons of refractory lining installed
• total boiler length exceeding 15 meters
• vessel diameter of nearly 3 meters

The lining was designed as a monolithic structure consisting of:

• two layers of insulating refractory castable
• a working layer made of refractory castable with 94% Al₂O₃ content

This project clearly demonstrates that our work goes beyond material supply – delivering a complete process including proper design, precise installation, and carefully executed dry-out.
